hetero8 ("we") processes data in the mobile game CANDY POP: Break Time (the "app") as described below.
1. What the app does not collect
- Your name, phone number, or postal address — we never ask for them.
- Location (GPS) — never requested or used.
- Date of birth — the age screen stores only the resulting band on the device and never sends it anywhere.
- Photos, contacts, microphone, camera — no permissions requested.
- Your email address is not stored by the game. If you choose to sign in, see section 2a.
2. What the app collects and sends

- The Google items above are collected automatically by Google-provided SDKs and encrypted in transit (TLS). Support messages are also sent over TLS.
- You can play without an account. Without signing in, your scores, records, tickets and settings stay on your device only.
2a. If you sign in (optional)
Signing in with Google or Kakao is entirely optional and exists to put your score on the leaderboard and to carry your record across devices. Everything in the game works without it.

- Your nickname and rank are public to other players. Your email and account identifier are not.
- The tap log is kept only while a score is awaiting verification and is erased once checked.
3. Age requirement
The app is for players aged 14 and over. On first launch it asks for your birth year; if you are under 14, or skip the question, the game does not open. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14. The answer is kept on your device and is not sent anywhere.
4. Retention
- On-device data is removed when you uninstall the app.
- Account data (section 2a) is kept until you delete your account, and is erased immediately when you do.
- Support messages are kept in our Slack and deleted within one year after they are handled.
- Data collected by Google is retained under each service's policy — Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses ads data.
5. Your choices
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID: Android Settings → Google → Ads.
- Ad consent (EEA and UK): you choose in the Google UMP consent dialog on first launch, and can change it any time via Settings → Ad consent → [Review] in the app. The dialog appears only in those regions.
- Analytics: uninstalling the app assigns a new app instance ID, unlinking prior data.
- Deleting a support message: email [email protected] with roughly when you sent it and what it said, and we will find and delete it. In app versions that have Settings → Contact, you can also send a "delete request" there (your public ID is attached automatically) and we will delete messages under that ID.
- Deleting your account and its data: Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, which erases your profile, scores and leaderboard entries immediately. Instructions are also at https://candypop-policy.hetero8.com/delete/.
- Changing your nickname: Settings → Account in the app.

6. Third parties
We do not sell personal data. The Google services in section 2 process data on our behalf or under their own policies.
Account and score data (section 2a) is processed on our behalf by, and stored outside your country on, the following services:

Google · Kakao 로그인은 선택 사항이며, 순위표에 점수를 올리고 기기를 바꿔도 기록을 잇기 위한 것입니다. 로그인하지 않아도 게임의 모든 기능을 이용할 수 있습니다.

- 닉네임과 순위는 다른 이용자에게 공개됩니다. 이메일과 계정 식별자는 공개되지 않습니다.
- 탭 기록은 그 점수가 검증을 기다리는 동안만 보관하며, 검증이 끝나면 지웁니다.
3. 이용 연령
앱은 만 14세 이상만 이용할 수 있습니다. 첫 실행 시 태어난 해를 묻고, 만 14세 미만이거나 답하지 않으면 게임이 열리지 않습니다. 회사는 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다. 답한 내용은 기기 안에만 저장되며 외부로 전송하지 않습니다.
4. 보유 기간
- 기기 안의 데이터: 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.
- 계정 관련 데이터(2-a 항): 계정을 삭제하실 때까지 보관하며, 삭제하시면 즉시 파기합니다.
- 문의 내용: 회사 Slack 에 보관하며, 처리 후 1년 이내에 삭제합니다.
- Google 이 수집한 데이터: 각 서비스의 보관 정책을 따릅니다 — Google 개인정보처리방침, Google 광고 정책.
5. 이용자의 권리
- 광고 ID 재설정·삭제: Android 설정 → Google → 광고 에서 할 수 있습니다.
- 광고 동의 (유럽경제지역·영국): 첫 실행 시 Google UMP 동의 창에서 선택하며, 앱의 설정 → 광고 동의 → [다시 선택] 으로 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다. 이 창은 해당 지역에서만 나타납니다.
- 분석 데이터: 앱을 삭제하면 새 앱 인스턴스 ID 가 부여되어 이전 데이터와 연결되지 않습니다.
- 문의 내용 삭제: [email protected] 으로 보내신 때와 내용을 대략 알려 주시면 찾아서 삭제합니다. 설정 → 문의 메뉴가 있는 앱 버전에서는 그 자리에서 "삭제 요청"을 보내셔도 됩니다(공개 ID 가 자동으로 함께 가며, 같은 ID 의 문의를 삭제합니다).
- 계정 및 데이터 삭제: 앱의 설정 → 계정 → 계정 삭제로 프로필 · 점수 · 순위표 등재를 즉시 지울 수 있습니다. 안내는 https://candypop-policy.hetero8.com/delete/ 에도 있습니다.
- 닉네임 변경: 앱의 설정 → 계정에서 바꿀 수 있습니다.
- 그 밖의 요청은 아래 연락처로 보내 주십시오.
6. 제3자 제공 · 처리 위탁
회사는 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 위 2항의 Google 서비스가 회사를 대신해, 또는 자체 정책에 따라 데이터를 처리합니다.
